Ways to sign in

Forgot your password? Use the Email code tab to get in with a one-time code.

CertMonk doesn't have a screen to change your email address or password yet. If you need your email address changed, email support@certmonk.app from your current address.

Two-step verification

Add a code from an authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or 1Password) to your sign-in:

  1. Open Settings and, under Security, choose Turn on two-step verification.
  2. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app, or type the setup key into it.
  3. Enter the 6-digit code the app shows and choose Verify and turn on.

From then on, CertMonk also asks for a code from your authenticator app when you sign in. To turn it off, choose Turn off two-step verification and enter a current code.

Lost your authenticator? CertMonk has no backup codes. Email support@certmonk.app from your account's email address.

Sign out

Open Settings and choose Sign out. This signs you out on this device only. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.

Delete your account

  1. Open Settings: on Android, the gear at the top right of the Study tab; on the web, at the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. At the bottom, under Danger zone, choose Delete account….
  3. Read what is deleted, type DELETE, then choose Delete my account permanently.

Your account and data are deleted right away and you are signed out. This removes your study progress, test results, flashcard progress, question reports and your purchase records, so purchases can't be restored to a new account. Deleting your account does not cancel or refund a Google Play purchase.

Can't sign in? Email privacy@certmonk.app from your account's email address with the subject "Delete my CertMonk account". We delete it within 30 days and reply to confirm. All the details are on Delete your CertMonk account.

Get a copy of your data

Email privacy@certmonk.app from your account's email address to ask for a copy of your data, or to have it corrected.
