CertMonk helps you prepare for IT certification exams with practice quizzes, timed practice tests, flashcards and quick study games, with an explanation for every answer. This page takes you from install to your first quiz.
1. Get CertMonk
- Android: CertMonk on Google Play.
- Any computer or phone browser: open app.certmonk.app. Nothing to install.
- iPhone and iPad: the app is coming soon. Until then, use the web app in Safari.
Just looking? Choose Try free sample questions on the sign-in screen to answer sample questions without an account.
2. Create your account
The sign-in screen has three tabs: Sign in, Create account and Email code. Pick one way:
- Create account: enter your Email and a Password, then choose Create account. CertMonk emails you a code to confirm your address.
- Email code: no password needed. Enter your email and choose Email me a code. If you are new, this also creates your account.
- Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft: sign in with that account. If you already have a CertMonk account with the same verified email address, the two are linked.
3. Confirm your email
- Open the email from noreply@mail.certmonk.app.
- Type the 6-digit code into CertMonk and choose Confirm and sign in (or Sign in with code on the Email code tab).
Codes expire after 1 hour. No email after a minute? Check spam or junk, then choose Send a new code and use the newest one. See Troubleshooting.
4. Choose your certification
Pick the exam you are studying for. You can switch any time: on the Study tab, choose Change Certification, or browse everything on the Certs tab (Certifications on the web).
5. Start practicing
On the Study tab, start a short practice quiz. After each answer you see why the right answer is right and why each wrong answer is wrong. The Free plan includes two short quizzes a day and 20 flashcard reviews a day; they reset after midnight Eastern time.
Ready for more? A Cert Pass unlocks every full practice test and the full flashcard deck for one certification. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
