Cert Pass, prices and refunds

CertMonk is free to start. When you are ready for full practice tests, you buy a Cert Pass for the certification you are taking. It is a one-time purchase: no subscription, nothing renews.
What Free includes

- 20 flashcard reviews a day, with a 25-card starter deck for every certification
- Free sample questions for every certification
- Full explanations for every answer. The explanation is never the paywall.
What a Cert Pass includes
- Every full practice test for that certification
- The full flashcard deck, with no daily review limit, and unlimited quizzes
- It works on any device signed in to your CertMonk account, on Android and on the web
A Cert Pass covers the exam version you bought (for example CompTIA Security+ SY0-701) for as long as that version is live, plus 90 days so you can finish studying. A+ Core 1 and Core 2 count as one certification.
Prices and bundles
A Cert Pass is $19.99 in the US. Prices are shown in your currency and may be lower in some countries. Studying for more than one exam? Any 2 Cert Passes are $34.99 and any 3 are $49.99 (regional prices apply).
- Web Choose Add to bundle on each certification, then Checkout.
- Android Buy a 2-Pass or 3-Pass as credits. Each credit unlocks one certification of your choice, and credits you don't use now stay on your account.
Bundles don't combine with promo or student discounts; checkout uses whichever price is lower.
How to buy
- Android Open the Plans tab and choose the Cert Pass. Google Play handles the payment.
- Web At app.certmonk.app/plans, choose Buy on web. Payment is handled by Stripe's secure checkout, which emails your receipt. Stripe may act as the reseller (merchant of record) and collects tax where required. We never see your full card number.
A pass bought on Android works on the web, and a pass bought on the web works in the Android app, as long as you sign in to the same CertMonk account.
Restore purchases (Android)
Got a new phone or reinstalled? Sign in to the same CertMonk account, open Plans and choose Restore purchases, with the Play Store signed in to the Google account you paid with.
New exam versions
When an exam owner releases a new version, owners of the previous version can upgrade at 50% off. If you bought the previous version within the 6 months before the new one launched, the upgrade is free. We show the current price before you buy.
Refunds
- Bought on the web: email support@certmonk.app from your account's email address within 24 hours of the purchase.
- Bought on Android: refunds follow the Google Play refund policy; request them through Google Play.
A refund or chargeback removes the access it paid for. Deleting your account does not cancel or refund a store purchase. The full rules are in section 6 of the Terms of Use and on our Refund policy page.
A Cert Pass is practice content. It is not an official exam voucher and does not include an exam attempt.
