Practice, practice tests and games
Last updated October 13, 2026
CertMonk has several ways to practice. All of them work on Android and on the web, and your progress syncs between them.
Practice quizzes
Short sets of questions for your certification, on the Study tab. Choose an answer, then Check answer to see the explanation. The Free plan includes two short quizzes a day; a Cert Pass makes them unlimited. Free sample questions don't use a free quiz.
Full practice tests
Full practice tests come with a Cert Pass. Pick how you want to take one:
- Start timed test: a clock runs, like the real exam, so you can practice your pacing.
- Start study test: no pressure to beat the clock.
Use Previous question and Next question to move around, mark questions to come back to (marking does not affect your score), then choose Review & submit. After you submit, Review every answer shows the explanations.
Need a break? Choose Save & exit. Your answers are saved so you can come back with Return to your session. In a timed test, the timer keeps running while you are away. You can have one session in progress at a time.
Scores are percent correct, not a vendor's scaled score, and a practice score does not predict an official result.
Flashcards
Open the Cards tab (Flashcards on the web). Try to recall the answer, then flip the card to check. Cards come back on a schedule, so the ones you miss show up again sooner. Free accounts get a 25-card starter deck for every certification and 20 reviews a day; a Cert Pass unlocks the full deck with no daily limit.
Games
The Games tab has quick, timed rounds that drill facts and skills, such as putting steps in order or spotting the problem in a log. Score 80% or better to unlock the next level. The first game for every certification is free.
Progress and readiness
The Progress tab shows your readiness estimate, domain mastery, flashcard recall, your streak and your test history. Readiness is an estimate to help you study. It is not a guarantee that you will pass and not a score from any exam owner.
Leaderboard (optional)
Choose Join the leaderboard and pick a display name. Learners appear after two timed tests in 30 days. Others see only your display name and rank, never your email. You can choose Leave this leaderboard or Delete my leaderboard profile at any time.
Report a problem with a question
- On the question, choose Report a problem with this question.
- Pick what is wrong: Answer looks wrong, Unclear wording, Out of date, Typo or Something else.
- Describe it (10 to 1,000 characters) and choose Send report.
A reviewer looks at every report. Reports don't affect your score. For bugs or ideas about the app itself, use Send feedback in Settings.
Are these real exam questions?
No. All CertMonk questions are original practice questions written to help you learn the exam topics. CertMonk is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any exam owner.
