The Android app
Last updated October 13, 2026
Get CertMonk on Google Play. Sign in with the same account you use on the web, and your progress and Cert Passes come with you.
Finding your way around
The tabs along the bottom are Study, Progress, Cards, Games, Certs and Plans. Open Settings with the gear at the top right of the Study tab: appearance (System, Light or Dark), security, your account, support links and Send feedback.
Lock CertMonk on this phone
In Settings, under Security, turn on unlock with your fingerprint, face or screen lock. CertMonk then asks for it when you open the app or come back after more than a minute away. Your fingerprint or face is checked by your phone; CertMonk never receives it. This only locks the app on this phone.
Studying offline
Free sample questions are stored on your phone and work offline. If you lose your connection during practice, your answers are saved on the phone and sync when you reconnect. Flashcard decks for certifications you own are kept on the phone once downloaded.
Screenshots on question screens
To protect our original questions, the Android app blocks screenshots and screen recording on practice and test screens, and practice content is hidden while CertMonk is in the background.
Buying on Android
Cert Passes are bought on the Plans tab through Google Play. Promo codes are entered on the web; see Promo codes.
iPhone and iPad
The iPhone and iPad app is coming soon. In the meantime, use app.certmonk.app in Safari with the same account.
